With Article Forge 4.5 you can create cohesive, structured 1,500+ word articles automatically.

With this update, you can optionally enter instructions for Article Forge to follow when writing your article to create even more focused and useful content.

And now, you can expand your articles indefinitely from the editor to create truly comprehensive content about any topic.

Here are few tips and examples to help you get the the best quality articles possible:

Entering Article Topics (Keywords)

What does this do?

Article Topics set the overall focus and direction of your article. Because of this, it is critical to clearly state your intent for the article in this field.

How does this work?

Enter your article topic as a natural phrase and make sure it describes your intent.

Note: Long tail-keywords work well because they describe intent better than short-tail keywords.

In general, words like best, top, reasons, who, what, when, where, why, and how help signal intent in your article.

Examples:

Good Keyword: Best dog breeds for families with young children
Bad Keyword:
dog breeds

Good Keyword: Where should I snorkel in Mexico?
Bad Keyword:
places to snorkel

Good Keyword: What are the ten best credit cards
Bad Keyword:
Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card

Good Keyword: Texas Hold’em strategies
Bad Keyword:
Texas Hold’em

Good Keyword: how small businesses can get ahead with SEO
Bad Keyword:
SEO strategy

Adding Instructions

What does this do?

This optional field tells Article Forge what to write about in more specific terms. This can impact the section headings Article Forge writes and how Article Forge ties different ideas together.

How does this work?

Enter your instructions in natural language in the instructions field below the “Article Topic” field.

We recommend writing a sentence or two about what you want the article to contain or writing a brief description of your intent and adding a list of the sub topics you want brought up.

Examples:

Keyword: What are the ten best credit cards?

Instructions:

First talk about the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card as the best credit card. Then talk about other good credit cards for earning rewards like airline miles, cash back, and hotel points.

Keyword: Things to do in London

Instructions:

Write an article listing specific things to do around London including:
– Museums like the British Museum, the Churchill War Rooms, and the Victoria and Albert Museum
– Parks like Hyde park, St. James park, and Covent Garden
– Landmarks like the Tower Bridge, the London Eye, the Shard, and the Tower of London
– Cathedrals like St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey

Article Topic: AI ethical implications of M3GAN

Instructions:

Introduce the new movie M3GAN and talk about how the themes in the movie apply to current AI research and progress. Describe M3GAN as a fictional example of how AI has incredible power but could be very destructive.

Article Topic: Where should I snorkel in Mexico?

Instructions:

First talk about Cozumel as the best place to snorkel in Mexico. Then talk about other notable places to snorkel including: Oaxaca, Rivera Maya, and Cancun

Article Topic: Is eczema contagious?

First talk about the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card as the best credit card. Then talk about other good credit cards for earning rewards like airline miles, cash back, and hotel points.

Instructions: Start the article by asking “Is eczema contagious?” and directly answering the question. Then talk more about eczema.

Article Topic: Best places to live and surf as a digital nomad

Instructions:

Talk about the following places to live and surf as a digital nomad:
– Bali
– Thailand
– Costa Rica
– Portugal
– Hawaii
Mention things like cost of living, internet speed, quality of life, and what it is like to live there.

Extending Articles with Compose

What does this do?

This allows you to add infinitely more content to any Article Forge article.

How does this work?

Place your cursor in any text section and click Compose (or press CTRL+Enter).

Wait a few seconds then toggle through the suggested options and choose the text that you like best.

We recommend adding section or sub section headings and having Article Forge Compose from there. This will make sure your new content is focused and continues to add value to your article.

You can also add leading sentences or phrases to give Article Forge more direction to follow when expanding your articles.

Examples:

Add a leading sentence or phrase:

Add a new section heading related to your article topic:

Sub topic of an existing section:

More Ways to Use Article Forge

Enter Your Own Section Headings

You can tell Article Forge exactly what section headings to use in longer articles. Just toggle “Auto-generate section headings” off and enter your section headings. They will appear verbatim in your article.

Exclude Topics

You can exclude topics you don’t want Article Forge to write about.

For instance, you can exclude the names of your competitors or sub topics of your main keyword that you do not want included.

All you need to do is enter the topics you don’t want included in the “Excluded Topics” field (one per line, max: 5 topics) as seen below:

Note: You can use the same process for the Bulk Article Generator, but excluded topics will apply to each article.

Wrapping Up

Regardless of how you choose to generate content with Article Forge, you can rest easy knowing that you are using the highest quality end to end article generator on the market!

If you have any questions about these methods or Article Forge in general, our team would be happy to answer them here.

Happy forging!

Today we are excited to announce Article Forge 4.5!

Here’s what is new:

Core AI Update: Our Biggest AI Quality Improvement to Date

We know this is a big claim, and we did release an update just two months ago… but progress does not happen in a straight line.

Generative AI is moving at breakneck speeds and our latest breakthroughs make Article Forge content:

  • More fluent
  • More accurate
  • More diversely structured (nested sections, lists, more sentence and paragraph variation)
  • Less repetitive

Complete Control Over What Article Forge Writes

You can now instruct Article Forge on exactly what you want it to write about.

Instead of just asking Article Forge to write about the keyword “FTX scandal”, you can now tell Article Forge to:

Write a news article that:
1. Introduce what a cryptocurrency exchange is
2. Describes the fall of FTX and why it collapsed
3. Talk about current legal troubles
4. Concludes by suggesting more reliable ways to store cryptocurrency

You can write whatever you want in these instructions – so your articles come out exactly how you want them.

With instructions, you can create even more diverse, detailed, and high quality content with Article Forge. Check out this best practices post for tips and examples!

Write Articles That Are Unlimited Words

You can now write infinitely long articles directly in the Article Forge editor.

Once you create your article, you can have Article Forge extend it indefinitely, writing as many headers, subheaders, and sections as you want.

Using this, we have created articles that are 20,000+ words!

What’s Next?

The combination of these three updates makes it even easier to create truly useful articles with minimal time and effort.

But, we’re not stopping here, our team of machine learning engineers and linguists are still hard at work. And, in the next few weeks and months, we will be releasing even more core AI improvements and features to make sure you can easily get even higher quality, useful content from Article Forge.

So if you are not already using Article Forge to revolutionize your content creation process, there is no better time to start than today!

Happy forging!

Generative AI has become a dominant buzzword in digital marketing, but there is still a lot of skepticism around how it can be applied. More specifically, many people question an AI writer’s ability to help websites rank higher.

So to address this question, we decided to go straight to the source: our customers who are currently successfully ranking with AI generated content.

In this case, we interviewed Patrick, a software developer who builds and monetizes websites on the side.

Could you provide a bit of background on what you do?

I work full time as a software developer, and a lot of my work relates to automation and making processes more efficient. I also help small businesses build and maintain their websites. When I was just starting out with SEO, I realized the impact of writing articles and immediately started looking at AI content writers. I then decided to create a completely new website with AI generated content to see how it performs.

What is your overall goal for creating this new website?

I wanted to do a true “nothing to ranking” test. I registered the domain on 11/2/2022, built the website in 2 weeks (launched on 11/15/2022) and by 12/15/2022, I was ranking with around 15 keywords and had over 600 impressions.

How did you choose your niche?

I wanted to stay within the technology realm because it’s an area I am familiar with. I am slowly expanding my topics to gain more authority as well as more impressions.

What did you use to set up your domain?

I currently use SiteGround for my hosting and they provide a great platform that comes with SSL’s, site backups, security, and WordPress installation all included with their hosting.  The template/theme is from Elementor and I use RankMath to help with SEO. Overall, I wanted to get the site up and running quickly while making sure that it is user friendly and stable.

How did you decide what to write about?

My topic selection has been broad and somewhat generic so far but up with current events i.e. Leadership, Supply Chain, Finance, and Insights. I want to build a base of authority and also see what topics gain traction. The newest one I added was about Algorithms to not only test AF’s abilities, but use a topic that if written well would have staying power because the content would stay relevant.

How does Article Forge fit in?

Article Forge fits in after doing basic research surrounding what Google looks for to rank keywords.

The first step is picking broad topics for AF to write about. The next step is more keyword research deeper into the topics to see if higher rankings come faster. I just give AF all my keywords and it writes full articles while I do other work. I do prefer the longer form articles because they have given me the best results so far and I did not find many other competitors that had that.

What are your goals for the content?

The most basic goal is a proof of concept. Can I write an article and get it to rank in less than a month. The ultimate goal is to monetize both the article writing as a service as well as monetize the traffic to the website.

How do you use Article Forge?

I started off doing one article at a time, then bulk, then linked up my WordPress site.  I love the bulk generator and setting the articles into pending review so I can alter them to be more SEO friendly (I tweak parts of the articles and add my own images and links) directly in WordPress.

Then I schedule them all on WordPress and let them publish over time.

Why do you use Article Forge instead of alternatives?

The others that I found were either outside of my budget or did not generate more than 1000 words for an article which was required for me.

How are you measuring results?

Right now I am using Google’s Search Console and the analytics inside the RankMath plugin.  Both will show the impressions, keywords/queries, and clicks.  I am measuring results by making sure there is a steady increase in impressions, keywords ranking, and ranking position.

When did you start seeing results?

Within 2 weeks of posting articles, I started seeing a small amount of impressions and a few keywords that ranked.  The bigger results started showed up around the 4 week mark with an increase to both metrics.

What are your next steps for continuing to grow the site rankings?

My next step is going to be more keyword research and picking topics/keywords with low competition to see if any of those actions bring more action to the metrics.

What are your plan(s) for monetization?

Initially my plan is to increase my customer count and traffic by a few and follow their metrics to confirm the process works. After that, it will be to increase the customer count as well as traffic to my site with more targeted content and monetize that with affiliate marketing ads and / or Google ads.

Are there any other steps or points you think would be interesting to include?

The biggest factor in testing this out has been patience.  Because I have a fulltime job, I don’t need this to succeed right away, and I believe that I have benefitted from this thought process.

Most business owners want their site to go up as fast as possible and want to see an immediate return on their time invested.  Since I am taking the longer term approach in order to confirm my process works, I believe I will be better prepared to prove to customers that this will work, but I will be able to give a more accurate timeline as to when to expect results.

Also, because I am using impressions and keywords ranking as my primary metrics where other companies would only focus on clicks and traffic, I believe this sets a better expectation for the customer.  This won’t be a quick monetary return, but the initial indicators could come faster than what we have been told/led to believe for many years.

Listicles are one of the easiest ways to provide informative, actionable articles for your audience.

And, Article Forge is the easiest way to produce unique, SEO optimized, 1,500+ word listicles about any topic.

This article will walk you through the simple process to create listicles with Article Forge.

Then we will show you how to create clusters of content around your listicles to provide even more depth to your content, authority to your site, and ranking signals to Google.

How to Create a Listicle with Article Forge

To start, navigate to the New Article page where you will enter your main keyword (the topic of your article).

How to phrase your keywords to get the best listicles:

We recommend using a phrase that describes a list, but you do not need to add the number of items you would like in the list (Article Forge will decide how many items to include based on its research).

Some terms that make for good lists:

  • Best ___
  • Top ___
  • Companies that ___
  • Applications of ___
  • How to ___
  • Ways to ___
  • Types of ___

Now you could just click “Create new Article” and let Article Forge handle the rest.

But for even more control, you can turn off “auto-generate Section Headings” and enter the topics you would like your listicle to cover:

Once you enter your main keyword and optional section headings, Article Forge will research, plan out and write your entire listicle for you!

As a final step, you may want to update your listicle’s title with a count of the sections and add any personal touches or CTAs before publishing.

How to Create Listicle Content Clusters with Article Forge

Creating topic clusters around your listicles is one of the best ways to:

  • Provide more comprehensive content for your audience (and drive more conversions)
  • Make your site more authoritative overall
  • Rank higher for more related keywords

Creating topic clusters may seem complicated, but with Article Forge there are really 3 steps:

  1. Create your main listicle
  2. Create contributing articles about each listicle section
  3. Link to your contributing articles in your listicle

1) Create Your Main Listicle

For the best results, we recommend using the listicle process described above and entering your own section headings:

2) Create Contributing Articles About Each Listicle Section

Once you have submitted your main listicle, switch to the “Bulk Article Generator” and enter each of your section headings there.

The section headings from your listicle will become your keywords for the contributing articles.

Note: If you want your contributing articles to talk specifically about your listicle topic (in this example, “snorkeling”), you may need to edit your keywords slightly.

Otherwise, Article Forge will write about each keyword in general. (This may be useful if you want to create longer contributing articles that talk more broadly about each topic).

Finally, select your article length (we generally recommend 500, 750, or even 1,500 words depending on how broad your listicle topics are) and click “Create New Article”

Note: Each contributing article is meant to give your audience the option to read more about any listicle topic and to provide more content depth overall.

3) Link to Your Contributing Articles in Your Listicle

Once Article Forge has generated your main listicle and all your contributing articles, the final step is to link to each of your contributing articles in the different sections of your listicle.

One easy linking strategy is to add a simple “learn more about ___” link to your contributing article at the end of each section.

Depending on your niche and the goals of your articles, you may want to create stronger CTAs to your contributing articles, or link more passively within the body of each section.

As you are going through and interlinking your articles, you may want to add personal touches or expand on parts of your article to help it resonate with your audience.

But Does Article Forge Content Rank?

New customers frequently reach out to ask questions like:

  • Can Google tell Article Forge content was written by AI?
  • Does Article Forge content rank?
  • Is Article Forge content optimized for search?

The short answer is yes, Article Forge content ranks. But to help you understand the “why” and “how” behind this answer, I want to provide a bit of background on the above questions:

Can Google Tell Article Forge Content Was Written by AI?

This is an especially important question given the buzz around generative AI and its ability to rank.

To answer this question for ourselves, we ran an experiment to test Article Forge content’s ability to rank against content written by human freelancers. In short, we found that not only does Google rank Article Forge content, it ranks the content just as well as content written by humans. You can read about the full case study here

Taking a step back, there has been a lot of buzz around Google’s opinion on AI generated content recently. But in the end, Google’s goal is to provide relevant, helpful, and useful information in its search results. When AI produces inaccurate, irrelevant, content, Google considers that spam, and that is what they are trying to avoid.

Article Forge produces factually accurate and relevant content that provides value to readers, so even if Google could detect that Article Forge content was written by a machine, it is not impacting the content’s ability to rank.

Does Article Forge’s AI Generated Content Rank?

Beyond our case study demonstrating that Article Forge content ranks, we have thousands of happy customers who are currently ranking with Article Forge content.

We also continuously run internal experiments to understand how our content is performing. Not only does Google index Article Forge content without requiring prompting in GSC, the content ranks consistently. We have found this especially true for long tail keywords.

Is Article Forge Content Optimized for Search?

There are many tools that calculate SEO scores for your content to give you a sense of its ability to rank. A few of these tools are Rank Math, Yoast, AIOSEO, SurferSEO, and Page Optimizer Pro.

When entering Article Forge content into SEO scoring tools like these, it scores an average of 70+% without any editing. This is especially true for 1,500+ word articles created with Article Forge.

Whether you have Article Forge generate section headings automatically or you enter your own, your listicles will be ready to rank in no time.

So click here to log into Article Forge and start creating listicles.

And if you don’t already have an Article Forge account, you can create an absolutely free 5-day trial here to see for yourself how Article Forge can create high quality listicles.

Article Forge provides the easiest way to create 1,500+ word articles.

And while the tool is very simple to use, there are many ways to get even longer and more comprehensive articles with just a few extra seconds of effort.

This article will walk you through creating a 4,000+ word article. But, there is virtually no limit to the length of articles you can create with this method!

To start, pick a broader topic that can be broken down into sub topics.

Example:

  • best weight lifting exercises for each muscle group
    • best back workouts
    • best shoulder workouts
    • best core workouts
    • best arm workouts
    • best chest workouts
    • best leg workouts

Create an article for each sub topic (we recommend selecting 750 words unless your sub topic is very broad). If your sub topics overlap, you can exclude the other sub topics from each article.

Then, create a 50 word article intro:

Once all of your articles have processed, go to the My Articles page and select each article, click “Bulk Actions” then “Combine Articles”:

Then, click into the new article from the link in the success banner:

And scroll down to the second article panel to view your combined article:

All your articles will be in this editor, separated by “|”s (you should remove the curly brackets and pipes before publishing).

In addition, before publishing, you may want to change the header tags to h2’s and h3s and add any final polish to your article.

That’s it, with just a little extra work, there is no limit to the length of articles you can generate in with Article Forge!

Watch Us Create 4,000+ word Articles with Article Forge:

Will These Articles Rank?

While there has been a lot of buzz around Google’s view of AI content, the single most important ranking factor is still providing relevant information for any given search query.

And using the method above to create comprehensive articles about multiple aspects of your target audience will ensure that your content is relevant in the eyes of Google.

This is because Article Forge uses the same machine learning (AI) architecture to determine what topics are relevant to write about as Google uses to determine what website pages are relevant to display.

And this is even more true when you compound Article Forge’s natural SEO optimization with more comprehensive articles. These longer articles will provide Google with even more positive signals within your content without ever needing to worry about keyword density issues.

In fact, when using SEO scoring tools like Rank Math, Yoast, AIOSEO, Page Optimizer Pro, and even SurferSEO, these more comprehensive articles will often score in the high 80s or even 90s without any manual editing.

What Now?

You are ready to start creating your own 4,000+ word SEO articles with Article Forge.

Why Article Forge doesn’t use GPT-3 and why everyone is thinking about content generation the wrong way.

Since being released in 2020, GPT-3 has become synonymous with artificial intelligence and text generation. Countless research papers have been released analyzing its capabilities, ranging from its ability to problem solve, answer questions, tell jokes, and more. GPT-3 has been featured in every major news organization under the sun, and it seems a startup built around GPT-3 emerges every other day.

For the customers of these startups, using GPT-3 to write text has become almost synonymous with using AI to write text.

Ultimately, OpenAI, the creators of GPT-3, have created the best marketed AI model1 of all time.

But the stratospheric rise of GPT-3 has stifled better approaches. Two years might not seem like a long time, but in the fast moving field of artificial intelligence, that might as well be a decade.

While AI researchers continue to devise even more impressive ways of writing content, end users of AI powered tools are stuck using outdated technology.

Where is GPT-3 Strong?

Now with that being said, GPT-3 does have several strengths – the biggest one being its flexibility. GPT-3 was trained on a large portion of the internet, and the internet is very diverse. People write all sorts of things: Pop culture stories, persuasive ad copy, educational material on preparing for the MCAT, trivia about US history, philosophical discussions on artificial intelligence, and everything in between.

By training on all of this data, and due to its very large size, GPT-3 has learned to do many of these tasks without requiring extra engineering, research, or training. This makes GPT-3 a great swiss army knife for prototyping new ideas – especially if you lack expensive GPU resources or machine learning research expertise.

Some different applications for this could include “taking a positive review and making it into a negative one,” “write marketing copy about a product with these five features,” or “take all of this data and turn it into a two sentence summary.” A single model that can do all that with no coding required is quite powerful!

Another great advantage of large language models like GPT-3 is that they have memorized a lot of information. If you ask GPT-3, “How many inches are in a meter?” it will correctly answer “39.37”.

When combining these two features together, you have something that can, with almost no engineering effort required, write generally decent content that is mostly accurate.

The Downsides of Being “Mostly Accurate”

I said above that GPT-3 was trained on the internet, and while reading the internet, it memorized quite a lot of the information it read. This is very useful in some cases, but this can also be quite disastrous in others.

If you ask GPT-3 who the current president of the United States is, you will receive back “Donald Trump” – who has not been the president since 2021.

The problem is that GPT-3 was trained once and memorized everything during that training. However, since then, the world has changed, and GPT-3’s knowledge has grown stale and out of date.

There are other situations where GPT-3 is just flat out wrong. When asked what month Volodymyr Zelenskyy (the current president of Ukraine) was born, GPT-3 confidently and incorrectly declares December. He was actually born in January.2

Why is this? Zelenskyy was not commonly talked about when GPT-3 was first trained, meaning that GPT-3 never assigned any importance to “memorizing” anything about him. Now he is important, but GPT-3 never got the memo.

This can reflect itself very dangerously when you have GPT-3 actually write text:

GPT-3 writes text very confidently and is often accurate, but it also is often disastrously inaccurate.

The Downsides of Being Closed Source

Despite the name OpenAI, GPT-3 is one of the few models where the weights and code are completely closed. Except for Microsoft, who is a part owner of OpenAI, nobody else is allowed to modify or study the internals of GPT-3, making it impossible to apply new research techniques.

For many people, this is not a big deal. They are not engineers or researchers. They simply want an easy-to-use API that mostly works, around which they can quickly build a product to sell. (This has led to a flurry of undifferentiated products that are largely clones of each other, all with the same problems and limitations.)

However, to researchers trying to improve the field, this opaqueness is a stop sign that prevents further iteration and improvement. This is in stark contrast to Google and Facebook, who release their work publicly to try to further AI research.

If you are looking for an example of open source versus closed source, look no further than image generation. OpenAi released Dall-E 2 earlier this year. But within months, it was completely overshadowed by Stability.ai, which released a similar model called Stable Diffusion, but open source. Immediately researchers got to work improving and iterating on it, leaving Dall-E 2 in the dust only months after it was released.

The same fate is happening with GPT-3. It is falling further and further behind in industry AI benchmarks3, and its closed-ness prevents the real tweaking that is required to help it catch up.

And for people looking to use AI to create content, there is no way to truly tailor it to writing large amounts of high quality, accurate text. There is a way (by paying OpenAI) to lightly tune the model, but no way to do the level of changes required to turn it from a novelty to something great.

Is There a Better Alternative?

Outside of GPT-3, research into AI content generation has been moving at a brisk pace. Researchers have found various major inefficiencies in how GPT-3 was trained and have managed to create even better language models at smaller sizes.

But, one of the most important evolutions has flown largely under the radar: a language model capable of doing its own research.

The truly great researchers are in the know. Adept.ai, founded by Google researchers who were responsible for inventing transformers (which GPT-3 is a type of), just released a new prototype that is able to use Wikipedia to fully research and answer any question.

LaMDA, the chatbot built by Google that is so good, one of its creators was convinced it was conscious, does its own research in the background to help better answer chat queries.

Our product, Article Forge, uses AI to create high quality, accurate, and helpful long-form articles in a single click – it is an end to end article writer rather than a writing assistant. We are doing the same thing as Adept.ai and LaMDA, but specifically for article creation – and to that end, we have built our own knowledge search engine.

First, An Important Note About Google

A lot of this pioneering work is being done by Google researchers. This should not be surprising – Google is itself a search engine. Their entire business revolves around accurately answering questions from users using the internet.

When you search “who won the last football game” or “Volodymyr Zelenskyy birthdate,” Google needs to give you an accurate and up to date answer. Google can’t return that Donald Trump is the current US president.

So you can expect when Google returns search results, it is using facts and information it has gathered from all across the internet to verify whether something is accurate and helpful.

(By the way, this is a topic we have discussed at great length with real AI researchers working at Google!)

So if you are generating SEO content with an AI tool that doesn’t research, not only will your users realize the information is inaccurate, but Google will as well. And if you are generating content and don’t care about SEO – well you probably still want your content to be accurate… right?

What Is a Knowledge Search Engine?

You are probably already familiar with a normal search engine – you enter a query and get back results. Our knowledge search engine is also like that but built specifically for machines.

Instead of taking search queries a user would write, this search engine takes queries that a machine would write. Our AI is able to give this search engine its entire thoughts about what it is writing, how it is planning on writing it, all of the topics it wants to cover, and the search engine will give back results that are geared entirely towards helping it write that content.

The results this search engine returns are also different. Instead of returning websites, it returns key pieces of knowledge in a way easily digestible by machines.

This search engine is almost like if you could hook Google directly up to your brain, where it can read your mind and then upload the facts and knowledge that answer your question directly back into your brain.

This Makes Content More Accurate But Also More Insightful

It is not hard to understand why AI (and Article Forge specifically) would benefit from a search engine built directly for it.

Unlike GPT-3, this allows Article Forge to write with reference material to ensure that what it says is accurate and up to date. It also can judge the quality of the reference to make sure it isn’t writing fake news. When it writes something inaccurate, we can trace back the bad information it was given, so it doesn’t repeat the same mistake.

But also, there is another big advantage. GPT-3 is a very large language model with a very large “brain,” but a huge portion of that “brainpower” is devoted to memorizing things. Since GPT-3 doesn’t do outside research, it needs to rely on its own memory – which we showed above is prone to mistakes.

Since our AI is not burdened with this requirement, it is instead able to use its brainpower to work on drawing insights from the data it is given. It can take the portion of its “brain” devoted to memory and instead use it towards “intelligence”.

It is very similar to if you were studying for an exam. If it were a closed book exam (you couldn’t use any reference material), you would have to spend all of your time memorizing that reference material. If it was an open book exam (you could use whatever reference material you wanted), you could instead use that time to come up with more insightful and useful ways to use that information.

All of these factors combine together in a way that makes Article Forge content more accurate and more useful than content written by GPT-3, or any of the writing assistants powered by it.

We Control Our Destiny

Of course, I’m not going to promise that at the writing of this blog post, the content Article Forge writes is 100% perfect 100% of the time (they are really good though!). You will almost certainly want to proofread the content yourself – but then again, you’d probably do the same thing no matter how you were getting your content.

But what I can promise is that since we have built these models ourselves, we are in control of our own destiny. We aren’t reliant on another company for models, and we aren’t even reliant on investors. Despite taking no outside funding, we have still grown to be 20 people strong.

Even more importantly, where most companies that use GPT-3 are largely staffed by marketing people, 70% of the company (14 of us at the time of writing) are Machine Learning Engineers or Linguists working directly on improving the quality of our AI.

So we are in control of our research roadmap and can tailor it specifically to solving our users’ problems – writing a high quality and factually accurate long-form article in a single click.

And the rate of AI research, both internally and externally, is moving at a breathtaking pace. As these incredible advancements continue, Article Forge will be the first tool to deliver them to end users – no need to wait on a 3rd party to update their API!

So no matter what your opinion is of AI generated content right now, pay close attention to this field. What seems impossible and out of reach now will become commonplace and easy in the blink of an eye.

Content writing will always be necessary, but the writing landscape is continually changing. Freelance writers need to be adaptive and not stubborn in their approach to work. By embracing AI content writing, freelance writers can not only make more money while working the same amount (or less!), they can stay on the cutting edge of their industry (and avoid falling behind).

Large media companies are embracing AI, so there’s no reason why freelance writers should be working manually. Despite what some people believe, the application of AI content tools isn’t expensive. It’s a democratized solution that makes scalable content writing available to everyone.

What Is the Job of a Freelance Writer?

The job of a freelance writer is to craft well-written and compelling content. This will be on a massive variety of topics in some cases, from fitness and lifestyle to high-tech.

Traditionally, this meant that freelance writing work was highly dependent on research, individual writing ability, and a willingness to be flexible for clients.

Meeting the needs and expectations of clients is essential for freelance writers because it is the content they are paying for. This sometimes means freelance writers must adapt their content’s style, tone, or structure to meet the client’s needs. For example, some clients insist on their content having a friendly and conversational tone, whereas others would prefer that their content is written in an academic and thought-leadership style.

Issues With freelance Writing

Anyone familiar with the content industry (even anyone who had to go through writing classes in school) can probably imagine why freelance writing is not an easy job. A wide array of “pain points” make the life of a freelance content writer challenging.

Getting Jobs

Firstly, not having enough work. Finding clients is demanding, which is only further highlighted by the worldwide economic recession. High-quality clients don’t just come into existence. You must actively search for them, prospecting leads, sending outreach emails, and being interviewed.

Freelance writers can use websites like Upwork, Fiverr, or People Per Hour, but the truth is that it’s challenging to charge a lot of money on these platforms unless you are highly established and respected in your industry.

Lack of Financial Security

Freelancers are typically contracted on an article-by-article basis so they are heavily dependent on their existing clients. In some cases, freelancing (or even one or two clients) can be a person’s sole source of income. This is not ideal. Even if you are creating outstanding work, you may fall out with a client, or they may no longer have the budget to continue paying you.

To summarize, there is a general lack of financial security for freelance writers that makes working somewhat uneasy!

Not Getting Paid

So this would follow logically from freelancers lacking financial security, but one of the most significant risks for freelance writers is not getting paid at all. Sometimes clients can be unreliable and untrustworthy, especially when no formal contracts are in place.

Writing Can Be Demanding

The effort of manual content creation is significant. Writing every day can be seriously demanding. Creating content requires extensive planning, research, and the actual time spent writing.

Additionally, as a freelance writer, it’s crucial to have deep background knowledge of many topics. This doesn’t mean you need to be an expert on everything, but you do need to be able to write competently on any topic that your clients want you to write about.

This is challenging and means that you will need to spend a lot of time ensuring that the facts in your content are accurate and your ideas are being portrayed accurately.

Minimal Control Over Content

At the end of the day, many freelance writers started working in the industry because they are good writers and enjoy doing so. However, an unfortunate reality of writing for others means having very little control over the content that is created for clients.

What’s more likely is that your client will perform keyword research and create a content brief/outline for you to follow. This means you will spend a lot of time writing content that you find boring and tedious to earn money. This is likely not the reason why you wanted to become a freelance writer.

AI Is an Optimal Solution for Freelancers

AI content writing tools allow freelancers to earn more money by creating more content. The best part is that it takes significantly less time.

Furthermore, AI is the ideal way to free up your time to work on more demanding pieces/the pieces you’re passionate about. AI allows you to automate the production of lower-level content. This content you spend time on is essential to your freelance writing career, so why not spend more time creating passionate, energetic, and highly well-written content?

Well, AI enables this. It allows you to focus your energy on these pieces while still earning a significant income from your content across the board.

There is a strong misconception that AI content writing tools are bad – this is not the case. It’s true that not all AI writing tools are created equally, but some AI tools are significantly better at writing unique, clear, well-organized, and SEO-optimized content.

In some cases, AI content can even be far superior to content created by regular freelancers. This is because AI content is consistent. It’s structured logically and based on research mechanisms. In contrast, freelancers might have very little understanding of a topic and are entirely unable to craft strong arguments.

Therefore it would be fair to say that AI is capable of constructing much better content than what some freelancers are capable of. As a result, you can start utilizing AI as part of your freelance writing strategy to produce more content on different topics, allowing you to increase your income much further.

How Can AI Solutions Save Time

Not all AI solutions were created equally. When it comes to content creation, there are two main types of AI solutions. Firstly, AI writing assistants, these tools are capable of assisting freelancers with the writing process.

They can help freelance writers to expand their ideas and create content in less time. They do this by generating small samples of content based on prompting from the writer.

The second type of AI writing solution is AI writers. These tools are far more impressive than AI writing assistants in terms of pure content output. This is because AI writers can generate entire articles in a single click with far less input than an AI writing assistant.

AI writers can create content almost instantly and help you to produce content that your client will love.

How Does Article Forge Work for Freelancers

Article Forge is a new breed of AI writer. Not only is it highly intelligent, it is also highly in touch with both what humans and search engines are looking for when it comes to content.

AI content writing solutions, like Article Forge, provide freelancers with an easy path to creating high-quality content. So, how exactly does Article Forge work for freelancers?

Well, when freelancers write content for clients, it’s more often than not that they will be following some sort of high-level brief or outline and, at the very minimum, a title. Most clients will be somewhat specific about what they are looking for in their content.

Suppose you are a freelance writer, and your client runs a travel excursion company in France. Now let’s assume they are developing their content strategy and have hired you to create content that leads to more trip bookings.

Well, one article that your client may want you to write is “best things to do in Paris” in that list they may be particular about their requirements and ask you to mention “Notre-Dame”, “Eiffel Tower”, and “Louvre Museum”.

Once you have received your assignment, it is your job to produce a convincing piece of content that makes your readers eager to visit the attractions and book an excursion with your client.

So, you might be thinking, okay, that makes sense, but surely no AI content writing solution can help me with such a specific request. Well, while that would typically be the case, Article Forge is capable of creating a full-length, unique article that meets the requirements.

Here we will show you exactly how:

Firstly, navigate to the Article Forge New Article page.

Once you have reached this screen, simply enter your primary keyword. This will be “best things to do in Paris”.

Next is the critical part; you will turn off auto-generate section headings. Finally, fill in each section heading with a topic you want your AI-generated content to cover.

Now your section headings look like this. You can simply scroll down and click “Create New Article”. Just like that, with the most minimal human involvement, you have been able to create an article that will be highly relevant to your client’s brief.

Breakthrough solutions like Article Forge have reshaped the SEO landscape. They have made it far easier for freelancers to scale their content up and start generating significantly more money from clients.

You can try Article Forge for free for five days. There are no commitments, but we do guarantee that you will love Article Forge.

Conclusion

Freelance writing isn’t dead. However, the means of creating content are changing, and content written by machines is replacing writing low-level content.

Some people won’t like hearing this, but the fact is, it’s the 2020s, and not embracing AI will leave you behind. Don’t worry. All you need to do is adapt to a new way of working.

When you think about it logically… why wouldn’t you want to use the tools available to get ahead?

AI content writing provides a fantastic opportunity for expansion. It allows freelance writers to put themselves back in the driving seats and produce content at the pace multiple clients expect. AI takes the stress out of freelance writing and allows you to direct your energy toward creating the pieces of content you want to write.

We will end by saying that being willing to take on new technology isn’t always easy, but it’s certainly a decision worth making. With that said, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We will be happy to answer all of your questions.

Happy Forging!

AI content creation is completely reshaping SEO. Over the last few years, AI has fundamentally impacted the SEO world. Industry experts are now turning to AI solutions to largely automate their SEO work, saving time and generating results much more quickly.

Though as more people begin to adopt this solution, questions about its impacts, potential risks, and implementation are being discussed at a broader scale.

By reading this article, you will learn precisely how AI content creation is changing SEO, the different ways that AI is used to create content, the impact of AI content creators, and the benefits you can expect.

How is AI Used to Create Content?

AI content creation is the process of using Artificial Intelligence (machine learning models) to generate written content. Some tools can generate a few sentences of content, whereas other AI tools can automatically produce entire articles.

AI is being used across the world in virtually every industry. Investors are using AI with robo-advisors and betting companies for predictive analytics. Now, AI is being used by SEO experts and media companies to generate content at an undeniably impressive scale.

However, not all means of AI content creation are the same. There are three primary types of AI content tools, AI scoring systems, AI writing assistants, and AI writers. However, one thing is true of all of these, they are completely changing the content industry.

AI Scoring Systems

While these tools cannot generate actual content, they utilize AI. Tools like SurferSEO, Clearscope, and Semrush can all grade how optimized your content is for search engines.

They do this by comparing your content to what their AI determines as a 100% optimized article. These tools then make intelligent suggestions about relevant keyword topics to include in your articles.

By doing this, you are effectively adding more SEO value to your content and improving your chances of ranking well. Before AI scoring systems, content managers had to manually think of related keywords to cover in their content. This meant researching topics related to an article and manually creating a list, now AI tools are capable of building that list with zero human input.

While these tools can certainly be practical, the process is still highly manual and isn’t fully reshaping the SEO landscape.

AI Writing Assistants

AI writing assistants can generate a few sentences to a couple of paragraphs of content based on prompting. They are also capable of rephrasing and restructuring content in order to make it more unique, and diversified. This makes AI writing assistants the ideal solution for generating copy for landing pages and even writing social media posts.

Moreover, AI writing assistants are an excellent way to brainstorm content ideas and can help any writer get around writer’s block. As a writer, there will be times when you are unable to continue writing an article because you can’t think of any new sub-topic ideas. For example, suppose you are writing a blog post about the best alternative investments. In that case, you could use an AI writing assistant to identify new ideas for alternative investments that you had not previously thought of.

AI Writers

However, AI writing assistants have nowhere near the same capabilities as an AI writer. This is an arguably superior type of tool. A true AI article writer can generate unique and SEO-optimized content automatically with virtually zero human input. Also, this isn’t limited to just a couple of paragraphs. AI writers can generate entire 1,500+ word blog posts.

AI writers are capable of one-click generation. This means that you can use an AI writer to generate a whole article from just a single keyword. This isn’t something you have to be present for, nor does it require continuous input. You just press a button and let the AI “write” for you.

Not all AI writers are created equally, but with some AI writers, these articles will be ready to use immediately. Optimized, valuable, and highly readable for your audience.

The impact of AI writers on the entire content industry is undeniable, what used to take several hours to achieve can now be created in minutes!

How AI Content Creation Helps You

You will know that AI content creation hugely benefits people looking to create content. But how does that translate to real-world, measurable benefits that reshape the content creation landscape?

Increase Content Output

Firstly, AI content tools enable businesses to dramatically increase their content output and topic coverage. This means that you can create content that reaches a much larger audience. This is simply because your content will appeal to far more people.

For example, suppose you have a fitness blog and only have articles about stretching for flexibility. In that case, although you will be able to attract people interested in stretching, your content won’t necessarily be relatable and enjoyable for people who like fitness as a whole.

By increasing your content output, you can expect a much more significant reach and drive up the overall SEO authority of your website. Before AI, building out significant topical authority could take years (or a considerable content budget), but AI is making this benefit more accessible even for smaller businesses.

Increase Keyword Rankings

Secondly, as you create more content using AI, you will be able to increase the number of keyword rankings and the position of these rankings. We will explain why now.

Firstly the number of keyword rankings you have is related to the amount of content you produce. According to Ahrefs, each top-ranking page ranks in the top 10 results for 1,000 other related queries. For example, an article about the “best budget laptops for coding” might also rank for terms like “best cheap coding laptops” and “best budget programming laptops”.

Now, not every one of your articles will rank at the top of the search engine results page. However, some will. Therefore, producing more content will increase your probability of ranking for many new keywords. The end product – a much more capable website with increased SEO power.

Increase Organic Traffic

Each keyword receives a certain number of searches every month. Most keyword research tools call this “search volume”. Searches inevitably lead to clicks and new users on your website. The search volume of all the keywords you rank for will accumulate, leading to increased organic traffic.

The bottom line is that creating more content will mean you are getting more eyeballs on your content. This will always be a good thing. It means more people will be in front of your brand and consume the information provided by your business. In turn, increasing the number of leads, conversions, and sales for your business.

Business concept vector illustration of a businessman who running with increase graphic chart to see the imagination future.

Increase SEO Authority

By creating more content using AI content tools, you can increase your topic coverage and target more unique long-tail keywords on a specific topic. This will increase your probability of ranking well for some of these keywords and improve your chances of ranking for related shorter-tail keywords.

For example, suppose you create a lot of content about different investments using AI, such as mutual funds, stocks, options, cryptocurrency, gold, etc. Eventually, you will be viewed as an authority on investments, and you may be able to rank for new and more competitive keywords.

Most SEOs will know these keywords are typically more competitive because they are more profitable. Thus, AI content creation has the power to boost your website’s SEO authority as a result of the increased topic coverage AI solutions offer.

AI Can Help You Create Content That Google Loves

Anyone familiar with SEO will know that although SEO can be a fantastic way to grow your online business, it is accompanied by various challenges.

Firstly, Google goes through several significant algorithm updates yearly, which means that the latest SEO advice is constantly changing. So, unless you are really up to speed with SEO, it is relatively likely that you won’t know precisely what your content should look like.

These algorithmic changes also lead to extreme volatility. This can be highly stressful and lead to dramatic traffic drops and monetary loss. Therefore, creating content that search engines love is essential!

Google Is NOT Anti-AI

Over the last year, Google has been updating its advice fairly regularly, and one thing that many bloggers believe is that Google is “cracking down” on AI-generated content.

Most people don’t understand that Google is only actively against spammy content that isn’t beneficial to readers. However, not all AI content creation tools generate this type of content.

The truth is that Google can’t distinguish between AI-generated content and human-written content, but what it can do is identify content that is stolen, rehashed, or irrelevant.

Therefore, you need to be more careful using AI content creation tools as part of your SEO content strategy. But please note that there is a massive distinction between the spammy AI tools you will find bots promoting in your spam folder and genuinely valuable content created by a true AI writer!

Article Forge Content Meets Google’s Standards

Article Forge is an independent AI writer that provides genuinely useful content because its AI includes research mechanisms. Put simply, the content generated by Article Forge is legitimate, capable of ranking well, and can provide genuine value for your readers.

Not only that, Article Forge content performs exceptionally well from an SEO perspective. This is because Article Forge takes a keyword as input and uses AI to research and understand the intent behind the keyword. This allows Article Forge to deliver accurate, relevant, and up to date content as output.

These are broad benefits, but when you break it down, Article Forge content will allow your content to take on a unique perspective that you might not otherwise have thought of. AI content creation tools, like Article Forge, can provide content far beyond just the generic materials you might read on the surface of your content research.

Conclusion

AI is helping to democratize SEO by allowing smaller companies to compete with bigger companies with larger budgets for rankings.

We have continually learned over the past decade that you can never expect the SEO landscape to remain stationary. Instead, it’s an adaptive machine that poses new threats and opportunities for content managers.

If you are involved in the SEO industry, you need to take the opportunity to embrace AI content creation solutions. Article Forge is the best AI writer currently available. It provides a unique opportunity for you to redraw the boundaries of SEO and gain the upper hand on your competition.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): You love it or hate it. SEO has the potential to create a scalable and steady stream of traffic (and conversions) for any business. However, SEO is more of an art than a science and results take time which can be maddening for people who want an easy “effort to money” (ROI) equation.

Creating content is vital to a strong SEO strategy, but doing so consistently and effectively can be challenging. Therefore, you need to create an efficient content creation pipeline. In other words, you should always be producing content. Writing just one or two articles a month is not good enough!

To handle the consistent volume of content needed to grow website traffic, some content managers will turn to hiring freelance writers. But finding, vetting, and managing freelancers is still highly time-consuming and not the ideal way to grow your content output.

In fact, in recent years AI content generation has started to provide a more efficient solution to producing content at scale. To break down why this is the case, we will first dive deeper into the benefits of SEO and the issues with the traditional approach to content management. But if you are ready to start producing content at scale now, you can create your first round of articles for free here.

Why you need to produce unique SEO articles

Producing unique SEO articles is absolutely vital from a content strategy perspective. Content has the potential to allow your business to reach far more people that you could through any other marketing channel.

Content allows you to dictate your brand messaging. It allows you to help people and convert people from all over the world into customers. Creating content is the best way to give you an advantage over competing brands in your niche.

Content is the ultimate PR campaign, only it’s ongoing, scalable, and motivated by a genuine desire to grow your brand through providing value.

Content Creation Struggles

Traditionally, hiring freelancers or in-house staff was the only way to effectively carry out a content strategy. Some bloggers and content managers would attempt to create all their content independently, however, this rarely ever works, and it’s not a sustainable way to create content over the long term.

That said, hiring freelancers is accompanied by its pain points that are better avoided for individuals running a content-driven business.

Drawbacks of Hiring Freelance Writers

As we mentioned, hiring freelancers is not all smooth sailing. It could easily be argued that freelance writers can have a hugely destructive impact on your content strategy. There are a few reasons for this that we will discuss now.

Most importantly, you don’t just “hire” a freelance writer. Instead, the process is continuous. From finding and vetting freelancers’ portfolios and their writing ability to creating content briefs and providing feedback, the cycle of managing freelance writers is unending.

Naturally, this means hiring just one freelance writer will be a massive burden on time, let alone hiring a team of multiple writers!

However, if you do decide to hire a freelance writer, you should at least keep these potential adverse outcomes front of mind.

Turnaround Time

Firstly, turnaround time. When you provide a brief to a freelancer to create an article, it is reasonable to assume they will need a few days to work on your article. This is a fair presumption that can be easily factored into your content calendar. However, quite often, freelancers are unfortunately not that reliable.

Your writers will have multiple clients; they may become ill, have difficulty coming up with content ideas, or simply have more important commitments. It’s difficult for business owners to accept, but their business doesn’t matter as much to their writers as it does to them. All of this combined leads to one clear negative for content managers, longer turnaround times that harm your publishing schedule.

Inconsistency

Another issue that is the result of hiring multiple writers is inconsistencies. In the ideal world, all of the content on your website would communicate ideas in the same way. People who become regular readers of your content will do so because they like the style of your content.

However, this will not be the case if you hire multiple writers, and you may struggle to build a brand around your content. Additionally, some writers will have much more topic knowledge, and some will simply be much better writers than others. This brings us nicely to our third drawback – content quality issues.

Content Quality Issues

Something inevitable when working with freelance writers is content quality issues. As a content manager, you will probably want to cover multiple topics on your website. This doesn’t necessarily mean creating a bunch of content on vastly different topics, but even content in the same niche demands a different style.

Writers will often have difficulty adapting to the unique style that a particular article demands. Each individual writer will have their preferred style (even when this is subconscious). Additionally, human writers who are not experts on a given topic will perform most of their research by looking at existing articles.

Unfortunately, your writers will not be providing fresh insights from first-hand experience and high-quality research. Instead, they will often be rehashing ideas that have already been shared. While this isn’t the same as plagiarism, it adds little to no real value, and Google will find it difficult to rank your content highly.

Modern Content Creation Solutions

In content marketing and SEO, content managers do not need to rely on freelance writers to scale their content output. There is a new way to create content.

Presently, there is no reason why a content manager would still rely 100% on freelancers to create their content. As you know, many disadvantages come with hiring freelance writers, which are even more pronounced in the 2020s.

This is because new content solutions are now more consistent, cheaper, and easier to manage. The 2020s have given light to a new era of content production where you can now create the first draft of an entire piece of content with virtually zero human input. Additionally and perhaps most importantly, these content solutions can create unique SEO articles with less than 15 seconds of work.

This solution not only means a more efficient content production pipeline but also removes the headache of content production. This way, you don’t have to commit any time to find, vet, and manage multiple writers.

We are talking about using Artificial Intelligence tools to create content if you haven’t already guessed. AI writing generators can leverage the power of machine learning to generate entire blog posts almost instantly.

While AI is capable of the suite of advantages we have mentioned, there are a few minor drawbacks to keep in mind. Mainly, AI isn’t completely automated, and you will still need to find keywords to create content. Fortunately, this is easy, and we have created a master guide about exactly what tools you need to use for anyone who isn’t sure or is simply looking to upskill themselves.

If you already employ freelancers or in-house staff as writers, we are not saying you should lay them off. Instead, you can utilize them more effectively to focus on growing the business. One option is to use existing writers as editors and publishers to make your content production pipeline 10x more efficient.

Every business should “hire” an AI writer. It transforms your business’s content strategy. Allowing you to focus on growing other areas of your business. Hiring an AI writer allows for significant automation, therefore it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

The Most Effective Way To Produce Content

Google has over 200 ranking factors. However, content created by Article Forge is automatically optimized for SEO. This is because Article Forge uses the same AI architecture to decide what to write about as Google uses to decide what to rank. Said another way, Article Forge and Google both take a keyword as input and use AI to deliver the most relevant content as output.

This means you don’t have to go through your articles with a fine tooth comb after a human writer has created the article. Article Forge is like a writer and SEO specialist, all-in-one.

You might be wondering how that’s possible. Article Forge was entirely developed in-house by a team of machine learning engineers. The technology powering Article Forge is unique to every other AI writing tool.

On the other hand, freelance writers are usually unaware of how to optimize content for organic search. As a result, you will need to go back through the content and make significant editorial changes, including new topics and restructuring ideas.

Reaping the Benefits of SEO and Creating Profitable Content

Now that you understand how to create well-optimized and epic content without having to find, vet, and manage freelance writers, all that is left is to create articles that will rank.

Creating unique SEO articles is paramount for businesses wanting to achieve real results through their content strategy. Fortunately, reaping the benefits of SEO is not as difficult as it is often made out. Most businesses neglect SEO (or are unaware of it), so you will be at an immediate advantage.

Developing content clusters is the most effective way to quickly achieve topical authority and dominance. This is where you create lots of related content on a particular sub-topic in your niche. For example, a business specializing in dog training might be tempted to create content about dogs more generally. However, narrowing their focus, so they are creating content at scale about dog training is a much better idea from an SEO perspective.

Additionally, businesses will reap the benefits of SEO more effectively by being strategic about the keywords they create content on. This means not deciding to create content based on the amount of traffic they assume they will get.

Knowing how much traffic an article will bring it is impossible. Search volume is not an accurate measure of traffic potential. That’s because the average blog post ranks for approximately 1,000 keyword variations, not just the focus keyword of the article. Therefore, content managers should focus on critical metrics like CPC (cost-per-click) when choosing keywords to get a more accurate picture of profitability.

AI-generated content allows businesses to experience the benefits of content creation without having to depend on human content writers and their flaws. AI content has developed a negative reputation. However, that’s because not all AI tools were created equally. Although, some AI writing tools simply spin content and generate content that can only be described as “rubbish”.

This is certainly not true for all AI content tools, especially given the way Article Forge was developed to understand relevance. In fact, we performed a case study on content created by Article Forge to understand how the content ranks. The results showed that our content was able to rank just as well as content written by humans.

Conclusion

There are enormous benefits to creating unique SEO articles at scale. You will be able to scale your content output, rank for more keywords, gain more organic traffic, and generate additional income.

AI is an alternative and more efficient solution to hiring freelancers. As we have discussed, finding, vetting, and managing a team of people is a drain on resources. Also, freelancers do not outperform AI generators in terms of cost, convenience, or quality.

Implementing AI into your content strategy to create unique SEO articles is highly worthwhile and may prove to be the best investment you can make in your business to fulfill your content needs.

Marketing can be an effective way to get more eyeballs on your business, and it’s generally a reliable way to build a strong brand. And while “Marketing” is a broad term, content is the best way to give your business an advantage

In short, if you publish blog posts about your industry, products, or services, you will increase the topical authority of your website. This helps Google understand your business which in turn helps your site rank higher on the search engine results page (SERP). Ranking higher makes it easier for your target audience to find you and convert.

But small business owners in particular don’t have time to create high-quality content regularly, so the best way to achieve these rankings consistently is to hire a content producer.

However, especially when starting out, it’s not feasible to bring someone on full time to write, and even hiring freelance writers can cost thousands of dollars per month. That’s why many small business owners are taking advantage of AI writing generators.

An AI writing generator is a cutting edge solution that essentially writes all the content you need to fill out your blog automatically. While you may want to add your brand voice, this enables you to build out and schedule your entire content strategy in a few hours.

AI simply is a game changing solution, especially for small businesses. The rest of this article explains the benefits of content production in more detail and breaks down why AI is the ideal “hire” to make your content strategy profitable, faster.

But, if you’re already ready to boost your online traffic, you can get started here for free.

Small Businesses Need Content

Small businesses need help with content production. Having a sustainable content strategy is difficult to maintain and finding the time to produce is near impossible. Therefore you need competent writers; it’s vital.

There are numerous benefits for businesses that have straightforward and competent content.

Content is king button on search bar. Pointer click. Cursor icon

Become a Topical Authority

Firstly, you will be able to establish greater topical authority. Well-researched and well-written articles will help you to establish expertise and authority in your target market. This is essential as it lets potential customers know you are an expert. In turn, people will associate feelings of trust and reliability with your brand and services.

For example, a business that offers personal training services should publish accurate and insightful content about losing weight, building muscle, dieting, etc. In contrast, a business that publishes poorly written, incompetent content will not be able to establish the same level of topical authority.

Building authority is vital, not just because it improves your brand image. It also provides you with leverage to showcase expertise and win clients.

Build Market Presence

Hiring a content producer will improve your brand’s overall market presence. Content does this extremely effectively. Blog posts are very shareable assets because it’s entirely free for someone to read and share your articles. Consuming content costs your customers nothing. People are just grateful that you are sharing advice for free.

As a result, some people will feel much more inclined to share your articles. This provides your business with visibility to a much wider audience.

Grow Organic Traffic

Additionally, when you create and publish well-written and high-quality content, it ranks for keywords in organic search. This means that someone on the internet looking for advice on a topic will stumble across your website.

Your website will be there to provide them with tips and solutions. When a reader looks at your content and feels satisfied with your advice, there are a few positive possible outcomes:

  • They share your content with friends and family (or on social media)
  • They go on to buy your product/service
  • They bookmark your website to return later

You might be thinking, well, not many people will read my content and then make a purchase. However, you need to remember that some people will. It’s all about conversions. Some blog posts will get over 500 readers a month. Some will even get well over 1,000.

If your product sells for $50 and converts at 2%, that will be ten sales a month from one article, that’s an extra $500 every month. That is the power of content production and building a robust digital presence.

Issues with traditional content producer hires

If you have worked with a traditional content writer before, whether that be in-house or a freelancer, you will be aware that it isn’t that easy. Producing content can take a long time, and as mentioned above, it can get really expensive.

Beyond that, it is difficult to maintain the consistent publishing schedule needed to build a sustainable content strategy that prioritizes your readers.

However, the benefits of creating content are worthwhile, from increasing brand awareness to ramping up your revenue figures.

Time

As you know, traditional methods of content creation are highly time-consuming. Researching a topic, writing a blog post, and then making editorial changes will likely take you a long time.

You may well spend over 6 hours creating a high-quality post.

That’s a lot of time that could be spent on promoting content, building sales funnels, doing off-page SEO work, analyzing data, etc. In other words, manual content creation forces you to shift your priorities. This immediately makes consistency and scaling impossible. By focusing solely on creating content, other parts of your business would have to be neglected. This is not the way to grow and future-proof your business.

Outsourcing content to freelancers somewhat mitigates this headache… or so it would seem. However, finding, vetting, and managing writers is still highly time-consuming. You will need to interview writers, read samples of their previous work, provide detailed outlines and instructions and inevitably go through a lengthy editorial process for each article.

This is unavoidable if you want to use humans to create great content that moves your brand forward.

Costs

Time isn’t the only constraint of manual content creation, it’s also expensive. As we mentioned earlier it will take around 6 hours to produce one solid article end-to-end. Even the most affordable writers will set you back around $20 per hour, so you can expect to be paying in excess of $100 per article.

This will quickly add up as you should be aiming to publish at least 2-3 blog posts each week. Having a budget for content is absolutely crucial if you do decide to go down this path. Investing in content is a good strategy, but financial results are not instant. It will take you a long time to recoup and profit from the money you put into your content strategy.

Freelance Writers Are Expensive and Require Significant Oversight

Hiring just any freelancer to create your content is not enough. You need worthy content if you want to establish topical authority, increase your digital presence, and grow your organic traffic.

Most freelancers are writers and not experts. They are good at creating content, but unfortunately, they are usually not aware of what they are talking about. The research they perform is typically from other websites and is not usually based on first-hand experience.

Hiring a subject matter expert is a much better option.

However, they will almost always cost over $50 an hour and sometimes nearer $100-$200 per hour. A single article with the desired content will cost you hundreds of dollars. For most small businesses, this is not a sustainable option, and it will rapidly exceed a standard content budget.

Why an AI writing generator is the ideal hire

An AI writing generator is the ideal hire for most small businesses because it can provide a suite of benefits that are inaccessible otherwise.

Automated Content Production

Firstly, automated content production. Instead of spending hours crafting a blog post, AI-generated content is entirely automated. Entire 1,500+ word blog posts can be created with less than 15 seconds of work. This is a complete game changer and massively reduces the content headache.

Prioritize Your Time Effectively

Secondly, this extra time will allow small businesses to effectively utilize their existing staff, whether that’s making any final adjustments to automated content, promoting content through social media or email marketing, working on off-page SEO, or even product development. AI-generated content enables businesses to maintain their existing workflows but still develop content without having to hire externally.

AI is More Cost-Effective

AI writing generators are the most cost-effective way to create content. As we have discussed, traditionally, one article can cost anywhere between $100 to almost $1,000 per article. However, with the power of AI, content can be created for a much lower price. Using software like Article Forge comes with minimal financial investment and allows you to create content for approximately $0.25 per 1,000 words.

The finance department employees are calculating the expenses of the company’s business.

Combining time and monetary savings means that an AI writing generator is the ideal “hire” for business owners. Content is part of the solution, but it should never be the only marketing channel a business relies upon. This way, business owners can shift their attention to the bigger picture and focus on growing the entire brand.

AI Takes The Legwork Out Of SEO

Finally, AI solutions are comparable to SEO experts. AI writing generators like Article Forge have a deep understanding of the topics that should be covered in an article and the structure of that content. Writing high-quality content is not enough for people who want to rank well in organic search, you need to have deep knowledge of how search engines understand and rank content. Fortunately, AI solutions are well aware of how this works.

How to hire an AI writing generator right here and now

Okay, so by now, you are probably pretty excited about the concept of AI writing generators and what they can do for your business. But perhaps you are still wondering how you can hire AI into your business right here and now.

Well, Article Forge is the perfect solution. Unlike other AI tools, Article Forge was fully developed by software engineers in-house meaning it’s completely unique from other AI writing tools.

Article Forge is able to create content from a single keyword, and we are not talking about a couple of sentences or paragraphs. No, Article Forge is capable of creating entire blog posts with optimized section headings and brilliant and unique ideas. It provides one-click generation meaning that content can be produced with the most minimal amount of human effort.

With that in mind, not all AI is created equally. Your content needs to be accurate, relevant, and provide genuine value for an end user. Recently, Google has been cracking down on AI-generated content. However, Google doesn’t actually dislike or even know how to spot good quality AI content. What they really mean is that they are against low-quality, spammy, garbage, and spun content.

This is NOT Article Forge.

You can get started with Article Forge immediately. All you need is a keyword. We recommend using a longer-tail keyword in order to generate content that is specific and useful. For example, a keyword like “best things to do in Paris” would generate much more accurate and relevant content than the keyword “paris”. With this in mind, generating content could not be easier. Just be sure to clearly signal the intent of your article.

However, because the content is so quick and cheap to produce, you can happily enter a few keywords for each article and choose the content you like the most, or even mix and match content from the separate and unique articles that have been generated.

With Article Forge, you can create content at scale. Simply put, you can generate an entire month’s worth of content in less time than it would take to write a content producer job description or write a content brief. That is the power of Article Forge.

Conclusion

Increasing content output will directly lead to a more authoritative website and stronger digital presence, not only will you save time that can be focused on other parts of the business, you will also benefit financially in terms of saving money in the short term.

Article Forge is the best AI writing generator for every small business, regardless of whether you sell makeup brushes or high-tech cloud infrastructure services. Article Forge is easy and fast and allows you to build a platform of solid content for your brand while reaping the results of SEO.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider Article Forge as the solution for your brand needs. If you have any questions about AI writing generators or any general best practices for SEO and content marketing, please let us know!
